Save our parklands:

City of Adelaide South Ward Councillor, Keiran Snape  addressing the ‘Save Miru Wirra’ public rally on Saturday 1 April 2023.

SECRA was well represented at the rally where a series of speakers addressed the crowd waving placards and sending a strong message to the state government that the inappropriate development on the Adelaide Park Lands has to stop.

“We support SAPOL and love horses, but stabling, offices, equipment stores and high fences are not a suitable use for irreplaceable, diminishing Nationally Heritage-listed park lands,”

Lord Mayor

“Mirnu Wirra is a very special place and a biodiversity hot spot. We need to preserve it for future generations.”
